U.S.B. IS A MUSIC MAGAZINE CATERING TO THOSE WITH VARIED TASTES AND INTENSE CRAVING FOR NEW MUSIC. WE’RE A BUNCH OF GEEKS WITH WI-FI CONNECTIONS, OCD AND CRAZY ACCESS TO ALL TYPES OF MUSIC FROM UNDERGROUND INDIE STUFF YOU MAY KNOW ABOUT TO UNDERFOUND ACTS YOU NEVER KNEW EXISTED. WE DIG DEEPER FOR NEW MUSIC.
Well here it is. The U.S.B.: it’s a mixtape, it’s a magazine, IT’S A MIXTAPE MAGAZINE. The U.S.B. mix/mag is a subscription based music magazine that you experience with your ears. Music is meant to be listened to so why read about it when you can get news, reviews, and interviews delivered to your door in a format you can listen to and share. Each U.S.B. features 15-20 tracks of dope music from underground and underfound artists that the nerds at U.S.B. HQ have dug up from the fringiest of sources. Hell, that mariachi band on the E train in NYC, or that folk chick that was playing the banjo at that biker bar the other night; if we can find them, and they’re good, we’ll put them on the mix/mag.
We are accepting inqueries. So if you’re a musician, or know of a band you think is awesome drop us a line and let us know. Want to advertise with us? Give us a shout. Think you have some journalistic chops? Holler atcha’ boy. Got some art skills? Drop a line. Got some loot you’re looking to invest? Oh, most certainly contact us.
October 1st is finally here boils and ghouls and with that brings the most creepiest of creepy t-shirts this side of the cemetery. So creepy in fact, you wouln’t even need a costume, just rock one of these and you make all the ladies (and gents) scream.
Also, if you’d rather decorate your haunted house, we’ve got prints too:

Nutriarts is an art and cook collective. Cooks work with artists to visualize and bring to life in art form their most favorite culinary creations. Exhibition of Nutriart works Tribeca August 11th.
Nutriarts will also be hosting a silent auction for the Jamie Oliver Foundation: an educational charity whose mission is to educate and keep cooking skills alive.
Drinks and lovely foods will be served.
Brought to you by Mealku Cooperative and The Real McKoy Creative
The Nutriarts is an art collective and exhibition of the merged inputs and imaginations of Mealku HomeCooks and visual artists. Nutriarts pairings are initiated around a food interest or favorite dish. Flavors, textures, colors and history of the dish are then presented in an agreed visual art form that in turn inspires the creation of new formulations of the actual dish. Art inspiring food and vice versa.
Sponsored Artists involved will receive materials support and will have their renditions exhibited during The Nutriarts Show July 14 (possibly through the 15th as well). As part of the Mealku Makes series, extensive PR and promotional support will be provided and considerable recognition secured. Renditions will be sold and proceeds will be donated to charity (We are currently in the process of researching congruent charities).
Artists applications for Sponsorship by June 8th. Artists should be prepared to interact with Mealku HomeCooks thru month of June. Initial art submissions and requests for material support must be made by June 25th. Submission of final renditions must be received by Monday July 9th.
